I've just bought a new case ( Zalman Z9 U3), and I was excited and all, so I immediately began with changing the chassis. After that I started my Pc with joy!.... ,but there was no display, only a text that says (No Signal) and then It switches to standby mode. Also are there no beeps and such.

This is my computer:
- AMD 6100-FX without OC etc.
- Asrock 990FX Extreme3 Motherboard
- Corsair Vengeance black 2x4Gb 1600mhz
- Ocz ModXstream 700w
- Sapphire HD6770 AMD Radeon
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB

FACTS:
- I already tried to clear Bios Memory
- Used 1 Ram, CPU and and GPU, no succes and no beeps
- I've heard that the Asrock motherboard is a piece of crap.
- No bent cpu pins
- No overheating problems
- Everything worked just fine before the chassis change.
- EVERYTHING works, just no screen.
- Reseated everything.
- I even rebuild the whole system! As if I'm building a new system.

I personally think that the mobo had a short circuit while I was busy, but I'm not an expert in this so I'm not very sure.
I know that this is a common problem, but none of the Threads worked me out. So please could someone help me. Thank you all!

Try starting the board outside the case. Is there a case speaker attached to the motherboard? If yes, connect both 24 and 8 pin power cables and start the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed. See if the CPU fan is spinning and if any beeps.

Nope, the same reaction...
I have another question. How can something like this happen from just replacing the case? It just really pisses me off.:fou:

EDIT: I heard that when you change your MB, then you must install Windows again. If yes, do you need to do that too if you planning to buy the same MB again? Sorry for the dumb questions...

Hmm well thank you for all your help! I'm gonna replace my MB next week for sure. If that doesn't work then... [strike]I'm gonna kill myself[/strike] I will really get pissed off. But again Thanks for all your help. A response will come next week.

Hello again! Srry for the long wait... Guess what!! It does...NOT WORK!!! I actually can't believe this. I've bought an Asus Sabertooth 990fx Rev 2.0 and no screen at all. Luckily this mobo has some indicators. It says on the manual that if one of the led indicators are lighting, there is an error. And yes I found the problem! The CPU doesn't work, as the CPU led says. I'm sorry, but come on! There is no problem with the Asus mobo and the build quality is amazing. I have one more question... Does this mean that the Asrock mobo is working properly? Thanks for the solution, it was the Cpu and not the mobo, maybe both. Uggh.. Time to go to the computer store.... :(

Update: I just realized that the Optical Drive's tray doesn't open, UNLESS I disconnect the Sata Data cable, then it opens straight away. Why? On the Asrock mobo there was no problem. Is this one bad aswell? This makes my head spin like a record.
