no screen display

Hello im havingb a probulme with some pc parts and need to see if some one can tell me whats wrong.I have a asus motherboard a M5A97-R2.0 amd am3 ddr3,AMD FX6300 3.5 GHZ 14.0MB CACHE,GIGABITE RADEON R7 240 WITH 2 GB, AND A XPLUS725 WATTS POWER SUPPLY,HP 593913-B21 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR3 SDRAM i have 16 gb in all when i turn my pc on the fans turn on no beeps from motherboard but have a red light that is flashing i think its called memok but i get no display the screen says no signail what am i doing wrong if anyone can help thank u.

How about just press the MemOk button, then boot the pc. The red LED related to RAM.

If the pc doesn't work after you press the button, check the cpu to see there is bent pin or not, or try the RAM in other slot, or even try other stick RAM.

Thank i have tryed to put the ram stick in another slot ive tryed every slot and still nothing everything is bran new processer motherboard graphics carfd and ram no bent pins i think its my ram i think that the ram isent combatable. But thanks still nothing is working i am waiting on differant ram.

I think the HP 8GB RAM maybe the ECC type, but I can't find the info. You may check the RAM label to see it is the ECC or the non-ECC. The M5A97-R2.0 needs the non-ECC RAM.

Ok thanks for ur help i had thought all alonge that it mite be the ram but i dont no what ecc means lol. but i do thank you and about the ram u said that for a few $ more i will go ahead and do that thanks.

ECC = error correcting code. They usually use in server computer, and non-ecc will be used for desktop PC only.
