No secure boot option on old toshibaqr

Hi . Im trying to boot from usb on my Toshiba L40-L14 and it just shows me a black screen with a pulsing . I tried with windows 10 and windows 7 but that didnt change anything

did you check for floppy boot option in your bios settings?
on older boards it sometimes has to be enabled manually, and is not
a default option.
