No Signal (Acer GN246HL)

I have been trying to put together my very first pc but it has been 2 days and I still can't figure out what may be the cause of my monitor showing No Signal. I have tried a HDMI cable. I have tried the provided DVI cable, plugged into the back of my GPU. The fan is running and the LEDs for the motherboard (there are 2 orange lights on the top right and bottom, is that normal?), GPU (white light on the 1060), RAM seem to be fine. Can anyone please tell me what else should I check? I'm worried I damaged something without knowing.

Have you connected appropriate PCIe power cable to the GTX 1060 from the PSU (it won't work without that)?

I think that GPU model needs a single 6-pin power cable connecting to it, not sure if it's 8-pin or 6-pin.

Yes, it's a 6+2 pin and I have done it already.

Beats me then, unless PSU is flakey/inadequate/worn out whatever.
