Hello everyone. I just registered here after reading through a lot of posts with similar problems. I had cleaned my PC 2 days ago(all the fans and everything inside it, wasn't going too much in detail and haven't been taking out power cords) and yesterday I noticed it would turn on but the MSI screen would keep flashing and restarting.

After several tries, it did manage to turn on I had no issues during the session. Before bed, I turned it off and now today it won't turn on again - The HDTV I use as a monitor just says No Signal. Lights are working on the PC as well as all the fans. Keyboard and mouse are not working.

I have a 940A-G43 motherboard, AMD FX-6300 processor, and R9 200 Series graphics card. I overclocked my CPU but restored it to default because it was getting too hot.

Alas, I have tried everything: -cutting power supply and holding ON button, taking out the battery, reattaching components and I still can't find the culprit.

Please help me out, I don't know what to do. Thanks, guys.

If you removed or bumped things like ram, cards, or plugs something might not be seated right. Dust can cause minor shorts that will keep it from booting. Depending on how you cleaned it you may have moved dust on to some sensitive components.

How did you clean it? For the sake of this answer i will assume air, its unlikely but you may have damaged one of the components in the process. Does your motherboard have the EZ Debug LED feature? That helped tremendously for me, if you put a camera/magnifying glass close to it (typically in the upper right area), the component that your motherboard is not detecting will have an led lighting up next to the name.

Unfortunately, I don't have EZ Debug LED and I don't have the speaker on the mobo either. The problem is, I'm isolated currently and don't have access to a professional or store. Please provide some suggestions, I'll try whatever you think. Thanks for the current answer.

As the PC restarted after the first problem. I would go through the PC carefully and make sure all the cables are connected especally the ones to the motherboard like the Power/reset/HD connectors at the bottom of the motherboard. Just go through it carefully as I wouldn't be surprised if you had just knowcked a connector off. The front panel connectors...

I wish it was that. I checked a million times, everything is hooked up as it should be.

Okay, but appologies if you have tried this, try taking everything not required of including any additional HD's and peripherals and with just one stick of RAM, then reboot...Other than that I am lost and hopefully someone better than me can jump in..

Tried already, no need to apologize. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Oh hold on, you are using a HDTV...I have had issues with my HDTV when sometime I would just get a black screen and eventually it turned out to be the HDMI connection...So I removed the HDMI cable and put it back in and it worked...Okay I know I am clutching at straws as you mentioned the keyboard and mouse dont work either but worth a try..

Nope. I unplug it every time I take out a component anyway.
