No signal after connecting new GPU

Hi, I have a custom built PC with these specs:

Cool Master Mid Tower
Gigabyte GA - F2A68HM-H Motherboard
AMD A10 7860k Processor
(NEW) EVGA 700w PSU
(NEW) EVGA 1060 GPU

So, I have everything plugged in and ready but when I turn on the pc I get a no signal message on my screen.

Is the video cable plugged into the card or the motherboard? Did you connect the 6 pin if it needs one to the gpu? Did you try a different video cable?

Does the GPU need to be connected by the adapter (1 8pin connecting to the GPU and 2 six pins towards the PSU) or can it be straight connected to the 8pin pcie that comes with the PSU?

No adapter required. The pin "PCIe" connector from the PSU is all you need.

Your PSU (which I am assuming is the B1) has at least two 6+2 pin outputs specifically meant for the GPU. Those connectors can be used with either 6 pin GPU connectors or 8 pin GPU connectors.

I'm not exactly sure what adapter you're describing, but no adapter should be necessary. If you want me to check to be sure, please post photos.
