The CM Hyper Evo 212 came in today and I went into install the new heatsink. Only problem was the sticky AMD cpu which I managed to slide off with a hairdryer. After putting the computer back in place, it no longer boots. Could anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks.

When I removed the heatsink, the cpu stuck onto the padding. This is a common problem as evidence by the numerous already-founded threads. They suggested using a hairdryer to heat up the thermal paste enough to remove the cpu. I later used some wipes to remove the pre-installed paste and spread another.

Double check things like all your monitor connections, your CPU power connection. After that you can try a different monitor, and maybe try using your inbuilt graphics rather than your GPU.
Basically, just keep trying things so you can eliminate all other possible causes of the problem.

Something similar to this happened to me a few days ago. After installing the H100i and using corsair link I liked it and decided to hook up my RM1000 psu to a usb header to get it connected to link. I used the last available usb header and the computer would start but no connection to my monitors.

Unplugging it fixed it. When I plugged the psu to another port and plugged my H100i to the other port that was supposedly not working everything works fine.

So maybe move around not only your graphics connections but your usb header connections. Just unplug everything one by one and test it out. You might find the answer.
