No signal after installing new GPU

I installed a new graphics card and I didn't get signal so I switched back to motherboard and I still don't get a signal. I have taken out the battery and unplugged it overnight and still no luck.

Please post your full system spec, including GPU and the interface used (HDMI, VGA etc)

With a GPU installed, your motherboard likely auto-disabled the iGPU ports....

It's an older system that I built. here are the specs:

CPU: AMD phenom ii x 64 965
MB: Asus M5A78L-M LX Plus
New GPU: MSI GeForce 710 noise free edition

I have always used the onboard graphics but wanted to use a second monitor. I was using VGA.
