No signal after new gpu, nothing I’ve tried to do to fix it is working.

I recently installed a new gpu in my computer (a gtx 1080) as well as an ml120l liquid cooler. When I went to hook up my computer to my monitor, using HDMI, I got no signal. All the lights and fans were on, but no signal. I tried hooking up mouse and keyboard, but those didn’t work either. I tried all the things I saw online, removing the new gpu, putting in the old one, removing one or both of the RAM, nothing worked. Im not sure where the issue lies, could be My motherboard or processor. I’m out of hope and out of money, and I fear I’ll need to go to a professional. Any advice?

Yeah turns out the motherboard is dead, I’ll get on that.
