Hello everyone,
I tried to update my nVidia drivers without doing a clean install and after the drivers failed to install I got a no signal message and black screen.

I looked at similar problems and tried everything. I removed the drivers completely with the DDU uninstaller but still I have no signal after the windows 7 logo.
I even removed my GTX 780 and connected my monitor to the onboard card. Still the same problem. I can only go into windows only in safe mode or by checking Base video (msconfig).
If I have drivers installed I get a freeze while the windows 7 logo is still playing but the windows load normally on the background just the picture/monitor is frozen. If I dont have drivers installed I just get the no signal message, exactly at the same point through windows logo.

All this happen no matter if I use my onboard graphic card or my GTX 780.

It is a desktop i5 computer with an Asus Z97-K motherboard and windows 7.
I bought it 2 years ago and it worked perfectly.(I didnt build it myself, although I have build computers in the past, I never had problems like this).

Also I tried different cables and different monitors , the problem is exactly the same.

Please help if you have any ideas.
Thanks in advance guys.

Reading through your description, you are able to enter in safe mode. If this is possible, have you tried to download the drivers from the website and install the drivers under express settings? This should clear any hidden drivers that may have been corrupted.
Also how did you download the drivers? Did you use Geforce Experience? Or go through the site manually?
If manually, did you install the right driver between 32/64bit?

I would try going through Geforce if you haven't and have it automatically scan and update drivers. If not, you can try to rollback your computer to a previous restore point if you have a restore point to jump back to.
