NO signal bios only

hi i have a 990fxa ud3 r5 gigabyte mobo i could go in bios with my xfx r9 280x dvi-a to vga adapter and worked good but now i have rx 480 with display port to vga and when i boot on bios my monitor says no signal! although it works on windows no problems it has some delay to catch signal so i dont see my port or windows 10 start up but after the delay i see windows 10 fine! the problem is i waited more then enough in the bios but still no signal what could be faulty ?

this isnt bios problem becuase i can see it with other card but on my rx 480 says no signal

help please i can only get in to bios using another dvi-a card only and i cant enter bios with mine!

Do you have the latest BIOS? Might be a support issue in the BIOS with your card or the card is bad

the bios isnt latest but it worked with my old r9 280x and it works with an old h5540 smth , could it be that i use display adapter ? i tried reset bios but no work, also the card works ok when on desktop , i get signal there but not on bios!

Disply adapter itself, the video cable is a possible, have seen plenty fail

i see since it only works win it shows windows 10 icon then its the card i dont know really!
