Ok so my self built rig is
-asus z77 mobo
-ripjaw ddr3 2x4g
Intel 4th gen? 4770k processor
Corsair 550w psu
Evo heats ink
Nvidia gtx 670 ti.
Thor v2 case
So I was having issues a few months back where my computer would refuse to turn on.
The mobo would show that it had power (green light) and tested the psu with a device to indicate that it had power.
After a awhile of me tinkering it finally tuned on.

Fast forward to recently.
My computer wouldnt turn on. I had bought a new psu and swapped them to see if that was the issue and it seemed to be the case!
The computers ledsflashed on and bam I thought I was good to go.
When I plugged in my hdmi I had no signal.
I tried just about everything from toms hardware to do list for getting the computer to post/give signal.

Some wierd interesting stuff that it was doing that maybe could give you guys some more indicators on what might be going on.
-the computer turns on everytime now but no signal. The wierd part is the minute I plug in the psu and flip the switch on the back it turns on with out me touching the power button.

-when it was working the date and time were off so I was thinking cmos needed to be reset. I tried that but nothing.

Maybe it's the mobo?

Whenever I turn the computer on I get power to all componets, heats ink, graphics card, everything turns on.

-when it still was working another wierd thing was when I shut down the computer the leds/fans would keep running after I shut down through the os

"Update"
So to swap batteries on the mobo I need to completely take the motherboard out of the case because of the interesting build of this mobo.
I swapped the batteries and put the mobo on its cardboard case for a test post, and no signal.

I then went through a list to figure out why my computer would not post, swapping ram slots, trying 1 ram, swapping pci slots for the graphics card etc.

The only information I could get from it was....

The fans and light would turn on if I had the graphics card in and plugged in via the psu.

If I had the card out and just plugged an hdmi into the mother board it would not even boot.

I'm at wits end here so any assistance and I would be grateful.

Solution
Ah no but some older mobos if you use a PS/2 keyboard can be turned on with the keyboard.

If there's an option in the BIOS, (If you enable the option)

Some systems can also be turned on if Wake up on LAN is enabled in the BIOS

If it's connected to a network
