Question "no signal detected" on monitor

Currently I am facing this problem where when I turn on my desktop, I get "no signal detected" on my monitor. This problem does not occur always. Sometimes system boots fine and I get my desktop. System works for 10-15min. then suddenly screen goes black and I get "no signal detected" again. Not sure what is causing this behavior. To rule out issue due to monitor I connected my laptop through hdmi to monitor. Monitor worked perfectly. Can someone please help me understand what is causing this problem. I have nvidia 1050ti 4gb gpu,intel 6800k cpu, 24gb RAM, benq 2k monitor. Please let me know if anymore information is required from end.

How are you connecting your GPU to your Monitor? Could be a faulty cable.
Does the connection on your GPU seem damaged in any way?
Is there any particular programs you run that cause this?
Have you updated to latest NVIDIA drivers?

I usually connect via hdmi cable(i have two cables,tried with both), have tried with Display port as well. In either case, i get no signal detected immediately or after 10-15 min. of system running. I am usually browsing web, no special software. Recently (13 feb.) gpu drivers were updated to latest version. I hope updated drivers are not causing this problem as this issue occurred recently.
Also went to service centre to get my gpu checked but there I could not replicate this issue.
As mentioned above i am using intel 6800k processor and I don't have integrated graphics. So I connect my monitor to gpu for display
Because of this problem system is quite unusable as there is no display though the system is running in back-end.
Is there a way to check if my gpu is misbehaving...?

What do you mean? You tried it somewhere else and it worked fine?
