Ok, so I'm getting the No Signal Detected followed by a blue screen error when I try to boot the computer. I tried going in safe mode and use system restore, it did not do me any good. I've found that one solution would be removing the CBOS Battery for 15 minutes then place it back in. I'm sort of a newbie, I've located it, but I can't get to it since it's placed somehow under the motherboard.

If this is the thing to do, I would like some instructions. Do I remove the motherboard so I can get to the CBOS battery or do I do something else?

Any sort of help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Ok, so I'm here with an update. I changed the settings so it doesn't restart when I get the blue screen. Managed to get information on the error and looked it up. One of the advice was to uninstall my display adapter (NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT) and restart. I did. Some of my problems didn't go away, like some of letters in the pre-boot phase were pink instead of white. But it worked, it booted succesfully. I tried to re-install the adapter (this was step 2 of the solution), and as soon as I finished and re-booted, BOOM: same problem, it won't boot, it goes to No Signal and then blue screen. Uninstalled once again and did not go through with the re-install.

It seems to work fine, but I'm not 100% pleased with the current graphic, like it won't allow me the resolution I want, it's set on standard, square monitor. I would still like some advice on whether I should stay without an adapter or maybe there's something I can do which would allow me to install it back again but without jeopardazing the booting process.
