No signal form Hdmi GPU to Monitor

So i had a custom built computer made at Cyperpower PC and i have had it for about 2 years and about a few months ago my hdmi stooped working and i have had to use VGA out of my motherboard. But sometimes the hdmi works after i restart my computer but not always.
I know its not the hdmi cable because i've tried another one and it still has the same problem sometimes works sometimes doesn't. So i'm just stuck wanna see if you guys could help me.

PC Specs
CPU: i5 3570k
GPU: gtx 660ti 2gb
Motherboard:GIgabyte Z77X-UD3H
Monitor: Asus VS247H

can you try that monitor on another computer to see if monitor issue or videocard issue?

Tested it and it works fine with another computer

are you using the latest video drivers but I think it is the hdmi section of the videocard is crapping out? check for any silver topped cans which are capacitors on the videocard that none are leaking brown stuff nor domed.

I have the latest drivers and it doesn't seem like any of the capacitors are leaking. Still i wouldn't know why it would only sometimes work. I'm going to try and buy a dvi cable and see if that works form my video card.

Another thing when i'm using vga even though my gpu is connected my PC still won't detect it so my games run of internal graphics. One of the reasons i'm trying to fix it because my games are really slow when i use the integrated graphics.

see if can try the videocard on another computer to see if the problem still happens. check in the bios for the video settings usually in the advance section.
