Hi,

I've had a PC sitting in the corner for about a year or so and decided to plug it in the other day. It was running
absolutely fine before I unplugged and left it, however now it does not give any signal from either the GPU or motherboard,
but powers on like normal. I cannot tell if it is booting into windows or not.
I've tried the following to no avail:
  • Removing GPU
  • Removing RAM and trying each stick individually
  • Reseating CPU + Reapplying thermal paste
  • Replacing CMOS battery
  • Replacing the motherboard

I have also tried all the standard stuff, i.e clear cmos, try different cables and ports, check connections, pins, standoffs,
jumpers etc...

The PC was not moved at all while it was sat idle, nor did it receive any physical damage.

I'm leaning towards this issue being the CPU now as I can't see it being the power supply and I've tried
everything else, unless I'm forgetting something.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Thanks for reading,

BTW the specs are: i5-4590, 16gb RAM, GTX 1650, Asus Q87M-E, 1x HDD, 1x SSD, Corsair CX430

can you plug the monitor into the motherboard rather than the graphics card?
Yeah, I've tried it in both the graphics card and motherboard with HDMI, DVI and VGA with no luck. I've removed the GPU and tried
that too but nothing seems to work and I'm certain it isn't the motherboard as I swapped that out for a new one when I first encountered
this problem.
