Question No signal from motherboard or GPU after replacing PSU

My Corsair Cx500M died a few days ago so I had to replace it with a CX650M. Everything powers on fine when I press the power button, but my monitors read no signal from the VGA and HDMI ports on both the motherboard and the Graphics card. I replaced the pci cord to the graphics card from the old type 3 to the type 4 provided with the PSU, but di not change the others going to the harddrives because I dont think that would matter, and I check the corsair website and both PSU's should be fine working with both. Any idea why I am not getting a signal? because I have no idea. any help would be appreciated

no, just no output from my graphics card or motherboard, eve though both are clearly powered and working. is the motherboard broken?
