I have had my custom computer since the first week of October, and guess what? It is yet to work properly.
Here is what I have done over the past 3 months or so...

-after putting together all the parts and pieces I took it all apart and started it over.

-purchased new power supply (bp550 plus) because it had the 8 pin atx power cable and the psu that came with the case had only a 4-pin.

- called gigabyte to troubleshoot so often that I have had one or two reps there remember me.

-called AMD because I am pretty sure my pins weren't straight when it arrived. They refused to RMA it until last night. (by the way their phone support is the worst I have ever dealt with. 2 calls and 90 minutes total with no one picking up the phone) when I could talk to them they weren't much help

Called evga and they suggested it can be a dvi cable or monitor since the Gpu worked in my other build

-RMAd gigabyte and nothing was broken on the board. The just updated the BIOS...

-what do y'all suggest? I'm stumped an risking $900. Pcpartpicker
Took the mono out of case and placed on cardboard and tried to boot but no boot or even a post occurred when this happened.

-Changed some of the screws in my case that didn't seem to be the right ones.

-called EVGA , gigabyte , and AMD again a few more times.

The thing I am trying to figure out is if my video cable is broken , or it's my monitor.
While my motherboard was with gigabyte on the other side of the country, I was using my old build which included the same monitor, video cable (dvi or dvi-d), Graphics card, ssd and hdd, case and power unit. That computer got a video on the screen, and ran without any problems.

Would this be a CPU issue possibly? I fixed the bent pins with a sewing needle and the card went in the socket all the way, also locked with a little resistance.

I also tried two different power outlets.

The CPU fan doesn't look to be at full speed along with the no signal message from the monitor.
The monitor turns on and says "no signal" I tried both my gt 610 and gtx 660 both by EVGA.

What are your thoughts?
What parts may be broken?
What should I test? I have done everything I can imagine or gigabyte or evga suggested.

My specs are:
CPU- AMD FX-6200 (6-Cores)

Mother Board- Gigabyte Ga-970a-D3 (rev.3.0)

GPU- EVGA GeForce GTX 660 3GB Super-clocked DDR5

RAM- Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 16GB (4 sticks of RAM 4GB Each)

Case- RaidMax ATX-298WBP ATX-Mid-Tower (Blue) {Comes with 500w Power Supply (PSU Not In Use)}

HDD- Western Digital (Green) 1.5TB 7200RPM

SSD- Samsung 840evo 120GB

Optical- ASUS DRW-24B1ST

Sound Card- Creative Labs Audigy SE 24-bit 96 KHz

Power Supply- Antec BP550 Plus 550W ATX12V

Mouse/Keyboard - Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.

Monitor- Acer s211hl (21.5 inches)

Wifi Adapter- Netgear WNA3100-100ENS

-also a Logitech webcam (but not plugged in really)

One unrelated question though. My case has what I think is a usb 3.0 20 pin cable. My motherboard doesn't have a slot for that. It only has 3 usb slots. One is pinkish/red and it says f_usb1. The two other slots are blue and say f_usb 2&3. What do I need to get that part to work?

Thanks in advance!!!

Solution
Alright so first we rule out the parts that are confirmed to be working.

They are the monitor, video cable, graphics card, storage drives, PSU.

Board is unlikely to be bad as Gigabyte checked it.

Parts likely to be at fault - CPU with previously bent pins.

Other possibilities - RAM

Does your monitor have the slightest reaction when you power up the computer?
