No signal input on my Acer monitor

I recently finished building a PC and it has been tested on a different monitor and it works fine. All the components inside are good too. When I try to hook it up to my acer monitor at home I keep getting a no signal message, I even confirmed that all cables were in firmly etc. Apparently it is a common problem on but I just can't find a fix. Any ideas as to how I can fix it?

It's either a bad cable, or the monitor. If it's the monitor, then RMA, if it's a cable, replace it. Hopefully you have a spare cable to try.
