So I don't know what to do. I have built my first rig a few month back and everything was fine, the thing was working wonderfully. Today I got back home and it didn't boot. Basically it showed me the ROG logo and then the monitor would go "no signal". I disassembled the whole thing thinking I might have forgotten about the standoffs, but they are installed perfectly, I tried to plug one single RAM stick, nothing, I cleaned the battery and still nothing.
I double checked the steps on http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems and what happened is it wouldn't even show me the ROG logo.
I tried to plug the cable in the mobo, nothing.

Specs:
Mobo: Asus maximus VII Hero
CPU: i7 4790K
Cooler: cooler master newton 240M
GPU: gigabyte r9 290 wind force
PSU: cooler master Silent Pro M2 850W
RAM: G.Skill TridentX 2x8, DDR3 2400
SSD: Samsung 850 evo.

Please save me.

It was one of the first things I tried, did it again anyway just to go sure and nothing happened.

my thoughts exactly. I'm taking the psu and the gnu to the store tomorrow to test them, if the psu turns out to be faulty I'm going to buy a new one (I was thinking a corsair HX850i). If neither of them is damaged I'll have to buy a new mobo. Any suggestion on the mobo?

So I got the psu tested and it works like a charm. Adding to that I bought a brand new msg 797 gaming 5. Nothing happening, the monitor still gives me "no signal". I wanted to reset CMOS, can't as I don't have a clue where to find a jumper.
That said, I'm starting to question the whole computer gaming thing.

I did that, nothing happened...
