No signal monitor

So my pc turns on, all the lights are steady and i connected the monitor cables to the gpu but there was no signal. I look on YouTube at what the problem might be and it turns out my ram wasn't all the way in because the side clamps wouldn't go in. So i put the ram in all the way, and now the motherboard light which was steady before is now blinking. I have a msi pro series b250 motherboard. Is my pc fucked and i need to return everything ? Im completely new to this. All the cables are plugged in besides power led+. Gpu light is green and always on regardless if power is on or not. Motherboard has a steady yellowish light to the side of it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated !
