Merry Christmas!

I have an older system found here that i started to upgrade to keep up with time and increasing demands of current games.
First i bought a 55 E9 which is working wonderfully as monitor even when paired with this old gtx 570.
And then i bought a MSI GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Gaming X Trio, 8GB, GDDR6, 256-bit that was supposed to replace the 570 and deliver 4k content.

So the installation went smooth as always, i took out the older card, inserted the new one, first on the left side, then until it clicks in the middle (right side of the Pci-e), screwed it in, put additional power in (2 x 8 pins) from the Corsair 850W gold p.s. and hit it.
The RGB was lighting beautifully, vents were all working, but the video card wasn't sending any signal to the TV via HDMI (the same one used minutes before with the otherwise same setup).
So i brought in a small monitor, different hdmi cable, same issue, nothing to be seen, not even the BIOS, let alone OS10.

Picture here

The card seems to have two smaller golden pins, but i understand that's natural, not a problem per se. I'll let you have a look just as well, one here, one on the other side

Do you have any thoughts / suggestions?
I can't enter BIOS, no signal is sent to the display, the Big Bang Marshal is rather old and doesn't have fancy error LEDs to give a clue.

Thank you for the help,
Happy holidays!
Kind regards,
H

p.s. i tried and put in a new power cord that works with the other card, no dice
p.s.2 i tried using a different Pci-e slot, same result

I have the same problem with that same GPU. Mobo is Gigabyte Aorus pro WiFi. So any solutions or hints are appreciated.
BTW: @H_FIRE If you remove GPU you can hook up your monitor to the discrete graphics on your CPU via the io on your mobo. This way you can at least check if the rest of the build is ok.
