Hi,

I have a PC with the following specs:

Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core
ASRock B85M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SSD
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB DC Mini
Corsair 250D Mini ITX Tower Case
Corsair 500W ATX12V

The PC is almost a year old (built on July 27, 2014)

Recently I starting having a problem with it. Out of nowhere, the display goes black and shows that there is no signal. The computer doesn't turn off when this happens, I can still hear the fans spinning inside.

When this happened, I tried switching the video output cable from the GPU HDMI to the MB HDMI, but this didn't help. I tried restarting the computer, but still there was no display signal, not even the Asrock logo that appears when the PC starts.

Only when i turned off the computer, turned off the PSU and then disconnected the PSU that the video signal came back.

After searching online, I saw that the problem might be with either the MB, GPU or PSU. I don't have any spare parts to try and isolate the defective component, so I'm would like some help finding out which is the trouble maker.

I was already thinking about exchanging the MB for an "MSI Z97I Gaming AC Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard", so if the MB is the defective component, it wouldn't suck as much.

Thank you for your help!

I forgot to mention above that the first time I recall this happening was while playing Rust.

The screen froze and the PC just stopped responding (Ctrl+Alt+Del didn't work as well). I only got the pc to work after that by disconnecting the PSU, as i mentioned above.
