Hi. Thank you in advance for your help. I've spent about 3 hours on this problem so far and I don't know what else to check.

System build:
GTX 980TI
I7-3770K
16GB GSkill 1600Mhz ram
128GB Samsung 840 SSD
Asus ROG IV Gene Mobo
Asus Predator XB1 monitor
Problem:
I was working on an assignment on my computer, listening to music, when my monitor suddenly went black and displayed "no signal found." The music was still playing and I could pause/resume its playback but the screen was black. So I hard reset my computer. On restart, the monitor still had no signal found.

The motherboard is displaying A2 Qcode which means "IDE detect." Did my motherboard die on me? This system is 4 years old and the last hardware change was over a month ago when I upgraded to my 980TI.

Things I tried:
Removing graphics card and using integrated graphics on DisplayPort and HDMI. Still results in no signal found.
Removing all but 1 stick of ram and disconnecting all but my boot ssd did nothing either. Reset CMOS did nothing either.

Welp. Next time I should probably make sure the displayport cable is fully plugged in before disassembling my computer. The cable must have jostled loose at some point, causing the no signal issue.
