No signal on monitor after upgrade

Hoping someone can help me out.

I have
Dx58so Intel motherboard
2.66 quad core i7 processor
Amd 7750 graphics card
12 gb of ram
Samsung ssd 850 Evo 500 gb
900 watt psu

Computer was working fine, I go to upgrade the processor.

I unplug the power and change out the cpu above with an Intel 970 i7 3.2 Ghz. According to the Intel site it's compatible with my board. I have the latest mobo bios installed. When I power up, no signal on the monitor.

Tried putting my old processor back in, same thing. No signal.

When I power on, I see the light on the mobo come on, I see fans on, I see the graphics card fan on. I see the psu on, but no signal on the monitor. Keyboard doesn't light up either.

I try switching hdmi connection with Dvi, same result. I test monitor with another electronic device, monitor works fine.

I'm stumped. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Try reset the CMOS by switching off power, taking out the battery for 5 mins then insert back.

If that does not work check the EPS 8pin or ATX 4 pin 12 V CPU connector has not come loose
