My monitor will not register with my computer. This is my first PC build so I'm having a frustrating time dealing with this. I've tried many solutions but haven't had any success. My computer itself is running fine it lights up and the fans spin fine and dandy.

I've tried both onboard MOBO connect then connection through my GPU yet still "no signal". I'd appreciate if anyone could ho me since I've yet to see any video or guides to help me please and thank you.

Did you use any case fans?

Make sure your monitor is set to the proper input.

Make sure your GPU is seated properly. You will also want to make sure your using the 8 pin "PCI-E" Power connector coming from the PSU. Make sure the PCI-E power connector is plugged into the PCIE plug on the PSU.

That GPU requires a 400W PSU alone, but the PSSU Calculator might show you need less due to idle wattage being lower.

I have an air cooled pc with a 1st gen i7 980x and only a 6TX660. It has the CPU fan and 5 120mm case fans. If I am straining it, I can not open the side panel without the whole thing freezing. Please do not run it if you have not installed case fans and configured them for proper airflow.
