No signal on monitor/system won't boot

So basically when I turn my PC on the components in the PC are all firing up, however I'm getting no signal on my monitor my set up is:
mobo - m5a97 le r2.0
Cpu - FX 6350 (stock speed)
Psu - 750w (not sure make or model)
Ram - 1 x 4gb corsair vengeance 1600 & 1 x 2gb corsair value ram 1333 (dw this is just a place holder that I had lying around cos my second stick of vengeance fried on my old mb)
Gpu - XFX R7 260x 2gb

I have tried using my old gpu (gt 240) and if I use this my monitor works and I know my XFX card is fine as I was using it yesterday but today when I replaced my mobo i get no signal

The mis-matched RAM could be causing issues with the new motherboard. Have you tried booting with each stick of RAM by itself?

Yeah that was the first thing I tried

I can get the system to boot but I have to use an old gpu, if I try using my current gpu that was working yesterday and earlier today until I replaced my old CPU and mobo then it doesn't boot, I opened to case when it was switched on and my XFX gpu is powered on and the fan is sinning there's just nothing going to the monitor, I've made sure everything is in the right place and plugged in properly so the only thing I can think is that my gpu is having problems

Problem solved, no idea what was wrong with it but it suddenly decided to start working, thanks for the help.
