No signal on monitor when I connect a HDMI cable to Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7950

I have ASRock MB-970EX4 motherboard and Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 as GPU. I have connected the HDMI cable from the GPU to the monitor, both have HDMI ports in them. But it says No Signal. What am I missing? Could you please help

I am not able to see anything on the screen, its not possible for me to go into the BIOS.

There seems to be no way I can connect the monitor directly onto the board also.

No luck. I tried connecting the DVi cable to the monitor, still no signal.

did you plug all the power cable on the board and on the graphic card ,give us all your system specs .

Thank you for all the suggestions. I unplugged all components and plugged all the cables. Now it works!!

I just had the same problem with my radeon powercolor hd, what i did is that i put my hdmi cable from the monitor to the hdmi port on the motherboard, then i found out that i for some reason, my computer no longer had the drivers for the graphics card? installed fresh drivers and it worked 😀

nevermind, the gtx 660 ti came with an hdmi output cable I could plug in
