[SOLVED] No signal on monitor with RTX 3080 ?

I just bought the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING Z TRIO and the Ryzen 7 5800x together with a cpu cooler and a Corsair RM850 2021 to upgrade my pc. Finally I had put my masterpiece together. Gave it a little test run to see everything was spinning which it did. Even heard the little click from the cpu. Brought it upstairs and connected it to my monitor but got no signal. Both on HDMI and DP. My motherboard is Asus Tuff B-450-PLUS GAMING. Is the reason I have no signal because of my cpu or the gpu? And what is the reason it is the way it is?

Did you update your motherboard BIOS before the cpu swap?

I would return the RM and get a RMx PSU instead. The RM are known to have issues with the top line of 3000 Nvidia series.

Cpu doesn't make a click sound btw, i wonder what made that noise though, possibly psu.

As above, update bios before cpu change.

All pcie connectors connected?

If you recently bought b450 board, it was the wrong board to go for. Either get a compatible 1st/2nd gen cpu to do the update yourself, or get a pc shop to do it, or return motherboard for b550/x570. These will be 5xxx cpu ready by now, not so much for 4 series motherboards.
