No signal on monitor

I have a new ram.. But my hdd is faulty and i removed it.. At that time if i press the power button the monitor will light up and the motherboard information will come... I have not used my system for nearly 1 month.. Now my system is not boots when I press the power button
Please help me....

When you press the power button, do you hear anything? Fans coming on, noises coming from your system? Beeps? Anything? Or is it completely dead when you press a button and nothing happens.
