no signal on monitor

guys pls hep...i put my old gts 250 in my computer l and now my monitor doesnt have a signal i try to remove my gpu but nothing happen still no signal i think my motherboard is working because the fan and the keyboard is functioning..pls help

Was there anything unusual that happened when you installed the 250 like a spark or the system suddenly shutting off?
