So, i’ve just built my first pc, i made sure everything was done right but when i connect my tv to my gpu (RX 560) it says ‘no signal’. I’ve been looking around and have seen people say about updating the bios and drivers but i can’t do that as ryzen doesn’t come with integrated graphics.
Is it because i’m not using a monitor
I don’t know what to do, please help

Solution
I suggest borrowing a monitor and, if working, installing Windows and the graphics driver and then you should be able to use the tv.
It could be because you're using a TV since they often have multiple input ports for various output devices (eg games console, DVD player etc).

The only input connection on a TV which can be detected automatically (other than antenna input) is the SCART socket.
For other inputs (eg HDMI) you may have to select it using the TV's input menu (on screen menu display). In the menu, the external inputs are often denoted as "AV1" "AV2" etc. so just try them all until you hit on the correct one.
