no signal pc boots up windows as should just screen has no signal the graphics card works ok as put it in other computer and works find windows boot as here the sound

Solution
So you can actually hear the Windows welcome sound?
Please tell us what monitor you are using.

Possible ideas:

1. Change 'input' on monitor to match the output of the video card HDMI, DVI, VGA etc.

2. Try another cable.

3. Try another monitor.
The "no signal" message is generated within the display itself - not from the computer. Since you can hear the machine boot and the graphics card works in another machine, the problem must lie with either cable or socket(s) connecting the computer to the display or within the display's circuitry which detects and manages the signal from the computer.
