Hello there, so i got this problem with the second monitor that i bought, it only show "no signal".
I tried a lot of different things and i am running out of options.

So my first monitor is connected thru my dvi port directly to gpu, the new monitor i connected it to the hdmi port, I actually have on my gpu 2 hdmi ports and i tried both but I still get the same problem no signal,
I updated the graphics card driver, i even updated the bios.. The input on the monitor is set corectly to hdmi.

I managed to test the monitor on another pc but from vga port because it has only has vga and on vga it did get a signal so the display is working. The thing is that even if i try to connect this new monitor alone to my gpu it still does not show the image...

Now the thing is even if my gpu port was faulty there is no way both of them to be faulty, now..what can i do?
I am thinking to buy a new hdmi cable to try again tho the hdmi cable i have just came with the monitor so it's already new.

if you guys have any ideas what I can do please let me know...in the worst case i wil have to send the monitor back..one more thing even if i buy a vga to hdmi cable or to display port because the gpu does have both i am thinking that it will not be able to reach it's max refresh rate of 100hz.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You should include the specs to your build, like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

If the cables work with your new and old monitors on a donor system, then the problem can be narrowed down to your original PC.

Stick to one thread please, unless you want to create spaghetti brains for you and the community members trying to assist you.

PSU CoolerMaster 600W

Coolermaster is the brand of the unit while 600W is the advertised wattage of the unit, what is the model of the unit and it's age?
