right hi guys, so i got this new TV "Toshiba 65QF5D53DB QLED 4K Smart Fire TV" and as i normally do i have plugged my PC into it Via a HDMI and resolution was set to 4K by default which is fine for movies but i don't want to game in 4K "i have my reasons". So i changed the resolution to 1440P and then the TV has no signal, all of a sudden PC is picking it up still thinks it's there, so get my old TV and test the cable and all is fine picture instantly first try, so its not the cable. cable im using https://shorturl.at/osvBI
What I've tried:
I'm now at a loss, i don't know whats causing this or even how to fix it?
What I've tried:
- I've reset the TV by unplugging it
- I've reset the HDMI unplugging it
- I've changed it back to 4K
- I've switched source and back again
- I've put the TV in PC mode
- I changed the source setting to HDMI 2.0
- I disconnected from the PC and back again
- I've swapped HDMI ports
- I've tried that HDMI port with something else, works fine
