No signal problem

Hi there I posted on here last night that I'd bought my son a built gaming pc and asked if was any good ( the replies were great thanks) but after seeing It working at the shop ( which was brilliant ) I got it home taking great care set it up carefully using hdmi and BOOM no signal from the new monitor.so I tried the dsub same again so I tried both and nothing.then I did the same thing in same order on my hd TV and same again ( no signal) .plz plz tell me iv got the wrong cables.

It's possible the GPU jiggled loose while transporting it back home. Take out the GPU and reseat it.
