Question No signal, purple screen before

My kids were watching YouTube on my PC and told me the screen turned purple and stopped responding. After restarting the PC the monitor is showing a no signal error.

I tried connecting the PC to my TV through the HDMI input and it is still showing no signal.

I disconnected the graphics card and reconnected it to the mobo and no change. I even plugged the card into a different slot and no change.

The cards fans are running as normal and it looks fine, but it looks like I'll have to replace it. But before I do that, I wonder if I'm missing something.

My graphics card has an HDMI and SVGA input, is it possible the HDMi is shot?

Which GPU is it ? Kindly provide complete and full PC specs.

Gpu is a visiontech R9 280X running on an MSI motherboard.

500W power supply

Perhaps more context: I'm posted overseas so I've been running my rig on a step down transformer (240 -> 120)

The UPS I've used is only rated to 600W, I was planning on getting one up up 1000W because the UPS would fail when the PC was running lots of apps.

I'm not sure if any of this plays into my issue. I'll have to wait a few weeks before I can get a replacement video card, are there any other issues that can cause this failure?
