So I've ran into a weird issue with my display port. I have an Acer 1440p monitor. Whenever I install the graphic drivers my monitor will refuse to show post windows loading and will simply come back with a "no signal" error.
However, as soon as I unistall the drivers, it works again. The hdmi (to an old monitor, for testing) connection works fine in both situations.
I've tried replacing the cable, trying older drivers etc. Nothing is working.
Anyone got any solutions?
Also I did have a situation when using the hdmi monitor, I pulled the power cable out of the DP monitor and then put it back in. It then worked and the PC recognised it was connected. Soon as I rebooted - issues came back.
