no signal to monitor, no post

Hi there,

Yesterday I decided to reapply some thermal paste to my pc, as temps began to rise.

Upon putting the computer back togrther, I'm now left with the issue of no signal to monitor.

The stage I'm currently at with it, after a very long night, is attempting all the steps within the thread "PERFORM THESE STEPS before posting about POST/boot/no video problems!".

Unfortuantly this had no effect. Since then I've tried swapping out components with another computer I have, which shown me that the graphics card works, the PSU works and RAM works.

I've taken the motherboard out of the case and now have the PSU, CPU, ram, GPU plugged in only. I've tried taking out each of these and powering up to see if I can get any beeps(I have the little sound plugin thingy), however Ive not once heard any beeps.

I'm guessing its an issue with the mobo or CPU .. But hopefully someone can help me figure it out !

Sorry forgot to mention something pretty vital. Every time I boot, the DRAM_LED light flashes red once, the system boots (all fans running), and then quickly turns off, and then turns back on about 2 seconds later..
