No signal to monitor on RX 580

Hi,

The issue is:
I have just bought an RX 580 4GB OC edition, and installed it in my desktop.
However, I do not get any signal at all to my monitor. Not even bios, start-up screen etc. I have tried two different cables, two different monitors, and most of the outputs on the GPU.

Can this be caused by driver errors?

The LED near the PCI-E at the RX 580 is shining white, which I interpret as power input is OK.

It seems to me as if the BOOT is going trough: all fans are ok, and the keyboard and mouse are indicating some sort of start up after a while. I actually believe I get all the way to the windows login screen, but am unsure how I can get this confirmed.
I have tried waiting for about 5 minutes without getting any signal to the monitor.

I have installed the drivers that followed on the CD in the package (AMD Display Driver 17.10), (with a different GPU connected (GTX 670), if that makes any difference).

I have Ryzen 5, which I understand has no integrated graphics, so that I can't access the BIOS without the GPU working (as far as I know - any tips here appreciated).

When I change back to the old setup - that is, installing the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 - everything works like normal. I have changed back and forth a couple of times without any different result.

Can anyone help me out?

Edit:
I tried removing all AMD drivers by using DDU ( http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html ), where the PC was turned off directly after, and I tried changing to the RX 580 immediately. This did not make a difference.

Hello, did you ever get this issues sorted out? Cause I too have the RX 580 8GB version same CPU ryzen 5 and a Asus prime B350M-a MB
I am pretty sure its the GPU, the system posted I can also get to the windows log in screen, confirmed this by having the sound plugged in, I can even log in and shut down the pc from in the OS.
My problem seems a bit intermitted 95% of the time there is 'no signal'. (after UN-plugging the power cord waiting a few minutes and trying again)

I did get it working, I was trying in on Windows 7, and Ryzen is not supported on Windows 7. Since I upgraded for free from 7 to Windows 10 it has worked ever since. But even on Windows 7 it worked intermittently, when I was trying to trouble shoot it via the hardware side of things one time there was no signal, switched it off and left it as it was went down the town to do things came back and without touching anything other than the power button it worked. Wtf?

Nomis_33, Thank you for your response. My issue, I never got past the POST process. No video to even enter bios or see OS boot. ASUS thinks we have a bad card.

I too thought I had a bad video card, but with the speakers plugged in I could here the windows start up theme, and could even log into windows just by typing the password and hitting enter and then here the windows log in sound, but alas nothing on the monitor.

Have you got the speaker you plug into the MotherBoard? To listen to beep codes? When I was troubleshooting if I unplugged the Video card the beep codes would signify that, then if I plugged it in there was only one beep code to show it was detected. To be honest I never did know why it didn't work.

I got it to work eventually: I believe that the monitor did not show an image when the resolution was too low. Which means that if the computer stops the boot before reaching windows, the monitor never turns on.
I don't remember how I got past this step however, but somehow it just worked :)

Do you recall it having anything to do with your operating system? I'm having this issue with Windows 7 64bit
