no signal to monitor with gpu hdmi or motherboard hdmi

hi i just got my parts for making my pc but having issues.
i got a asus intel h110m-a sklylake motherboard.
asus gtx970 strix gpu
intel i5-6600 3.3ghz processor
i cant get a signal to my monitor from the hdmi from the gpu or the motherboard

Did you try with the nVidia card removed totally? If no video even then, go over the setup again, make sure all power plugs are in, CPU is in properly, basically start clean.

Yeh I have rebuilt it without the GPs and it still won't get a signal

Unless you used a crappy power supply or some part is broken, have someone else look over the setup to see if you missed something. Are the fans going on, lights all on? No error beeps?

I'm using a 750w corsair psu the fans are coming on and I haven't heard any error beeps and the lights come on
