No signal to monitor

"No signal" displayed to monitor when I boot my computer, typically after gaming. The fans spin and the motherboard and graphics card lights up but there is no display on either of the monitors. Reseating the graphics card into the other slot or even reinserting the card back into the same slot will temporarily fix the problem until it occurs again when I turn off or put computer to sleep. Onboard motherboard graphics also seems to work normally when the GPU is removed.

I suspect that the computer is able to boot since the caps lock key flashes when pressed after the computer turns on but no signal is received by the monitor. The problem has been occurring intermittently for around 4 months and suspect it might be a motherboard problem. Reset my BIOS to default settings (since I had overclocked my PC) but the problem persists.

System specification includes
