No signal when rebooting but otherwise totally fine?

So I have this weird problem with my PC that I cannot figure out how to fix.

Not so long ago I installed a new mobo (Asus Z87-A) and CPU (i5 4690k) in my computer and since then I cannot get a signal to my monitors when rebooting or if the monitors go to sleep.
Whenever I turn the computer on from a off-state it works 100% without issues. But if I choose to reboot the computer will shut off, turn on, and tell me there's no signal to either of my monitors.
Before the new mobo and CPU I had no such issues. So it should not be the GPU or any other components.
I find it weird that the PC has no issues whatsoever when I just turn it on, but when rebooting it won't give me a signal?
Any ideas?

Your help is much appreciated

i had exactly the same issue with my board, its the same as yours, i had to go to asus's website and download the CPU Updater and the latest BIOS revision, i tried to flash the bios with the EZ bios flash function and even though it did flash, it did not update other things on the motherboard, so i had to use the downloaded utility when in windows to flash the same bios onto the board and it updated other stuff using the intel management engine and is now fully compatible with the 4th generation intel CPU's

It wont let you flash from windows unless you have the Intel management engine installed tho because it requires it for the function updates.

the bios file is here...

and tool to flash is here....

all pulled from asus support page here....

Hope this helps :)

The BIOS Updater won't let me update even though I have Intel Management Engine installed? It just says I have to make sure it's installed (which it is) and it won't let me press "yes". I can only press "No" and then the program closes... Any idea what to do?

als on a side thought are all your essential windows updates done? some of those are known to fix this problem? also your gpu drivers are up to date?

i also had to run a fresh install of the framework in order to get it to work along side a few updates, i personally went through 2 batches of updates before the software would operate for me. you may not require as many but possibly could require more. thats difficult for me to say for you.

hope this helps
