[SOLVED] No signal when switching from R7 2700x to R7 5800x

Hi,
I had my new cpu installed which is a ryzen 7 5800x from a ryzen 7 2700x and now my monitor has no display. The computer turns on fine with all the fans running and all the rgb is on but no signal. Any help?

Specs:
ryzen 7 5800x
Asus prime x570-p
EVGA 3070 xc3

Did you update the BIOS BEFORE you swapped the CPUs ?

And then reset CMOS after updating the BIOS?

Okay I just had to put the old cpu back in and update the bios and it works now
