No signal when upgrading to new RAM

Hello, i really hope there is someone clever with computers/hardware that can help me!

I have a PC with these RAM installed: https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KHX8500D2K2_4G.pdf
- with 2x2GB in dual channel (at an ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo motherboard).

I wanted to replace these, by upgrading to 8GB RAM, 2x4GB in dual channel, with these:

When i insert the new modules, and turn on the computer, nothing happens. The screen says there is no signal. Not even seeing BIOS or anything.
By the specifikations, the RAM should be supposed to fit? The motherboard is able to run with following frequencies: DDR2 1300/1200/1066/800/667, and can take up to 16GB RAM, etc.. Am i missing something here?

- Try putting your old RAM back in by themselves, does it work then?
- Have you updated to the latest BIOS?
- Have you ensured the new RAM is properly connected and no connections have been knocked in the process?
- Have you tried ONE of the new sticks at a time, in the correct slot / channel?

1. Yea, they work perfectly fine with the old back in, and reads them both.
2. No actually haven't, i'm about to do so now, thanks for the advice
3. They should be properly connected, inserted all the way. With a certain amount of force, but i only press untill they click in
4. I have not tried with one as i have been told that dual channels are not supposed to be run with single modules. But they are in the correct slots

Whoever told you that you can't run single modules in dual channel is incorrect.
You CAN, but the RAM will simply run at Single Channel speeds (depending on your motherboard)

It's also perfectly fine to do for testing purposes.

I updated the bios and checked again, but still the same issue. Now i just tried with a single module in the first slot, and now the monitor is no longer missing the signal But something is still wrong, it's just saying ''Loading ASUS Express Gate ...'', and nothing happens.
Do i have to make some changes in the BIOS menu to make them work or something? The old RAM worked at a different frequenzy

Can you access the BIOS? Try disabling Express Gate from there, see if it lets you through.
Also try with other single RAM modules. Equally try the working RAM module in another slot.

You shouldn't need to do anything in the BIOS, but you may need to reset the BIOS eventually.
