[SOLVED] No signal With DisplayPort to DVi adapter

hey,
im using a Displayport to DVI adapter ubt when i plug it into my GPU it keeps saying theres no signal and it flicker on and off.. but the hdmi input will work in that same monitor

Monitor : Benq XL2411
CPU - Intel i7-9700K 3.6GHz
MB - Asus TUF z390 PRO
RAM - 16GB Corsair Venegence
SSD - 500GB SAMSUNG 860 evo
HDD - 4TB Baracuda Seagate
GPU - MSI AERO RTX 2070 8gb
CASE - Thermaltake Versa N21

What kind of DVI adapter? It would need to be DVI-I or DVI-D dual link, pinouts in the picture below.
