No sound after clean install of Windows 8.1

I updated my windows to 8.1 64 bit today from 7 home premium, and my earphones cannot be picked up. Before they could play sound, but now they are not even displayed in the "playback devices" tab. I have installed numerous drivers to try and fix this problem, but they do not seem to do anything at all. Help!

A clean install always requires sound drivers.

There is probably only 1 set that will work, and that is from the motherboard/computer manufacturers sight.

Brand and model # of the motherboard, or computer please.

I just checked the ARrock sight and they don't have drivers for win 8.

Just some USB Charger program.

You are probably out of luck unles the win 7 drivers work.
If they don't have drivers nobody dose.
