no sound and no software available to update

I was trying to make my headphones work on a windows ten asus laptop and my speakers were just gone is there anyway to get them downloaded and running again? the computer says there are no devices installed and i did not go through and uninstall them. i cannot update in the device manager, no sound option is available

Download the sound card drivers from the lapotp vendor and run them. If there is no audio device in Device Manager, there will be no sound.

Install a new sound driver or use Windows provided driver.
