no sound but........

hi,
anyone know why i cant hear any sound when i play videos but when i do the sound test there is a sound coming out from my speaker.
is it because of the driver is outdated?


im using asus maximus vii hero

What type of video are you trying to watch? Does the same thing happen when you try to stream a video (eg YouTube)?

yes i was watching youtube. everything is plugged in properly i guess

I would check what you default sound device is, I'm assuming your using windows... check out:

http://www.7tutorials.com/how-change-default-playback-recording-audio-device

If that dosent work try a different browser. Also do you get sound if you play a mp3 or game?
