No Sound Card Driver Available and black screen

Hi Everyone, I recently upgraded from Windows 7 32 bit to windows 8.1 pro 64 bit, until I was in Windows 7(32 bit), my sound was working fine, then I upgraded to windows 8.1 (64 bit)...
I Have an external sound card installed [(ESS 1969 PCI AudioDrive (WDM)] and i searched for the 64 bit of those drivers but I found nothing, there were no 64 bit drivers for the sound card, what do I do??
One more problem: whenever I start my PC, after the BIOS screen, there was a black screen with a white horizontal line on the top left side of the screen

Go back to Windows 7 32-bit or change the external soundcard for one that's got a 64-bit driver included.

Ok, I can use my internal sound chipset, the drivers are available for 64 bit of windows , but what about the black screen, I am unable to boot
